This gorgeous fisherman’s cottage dates back to the 17th century and is full of history and charm. Tastefully renovated in 2022, this dog-friendly cottage offers quirky accommodation for 2-4 guests in fabulous style over three floors. With its own private parking, you couldn’t be better situated to enjoy a wonderful holiday in this popular seaside town with its outstanding beach and colourful beach huts.

With soft comfortable furnishings, this charming hideaway is the ideal place to relax after a long walk on the beach in the cooler months and a fabulous family base to enjoy the long lazy days of summer. The open-plan living space leads in from the main entrance and is perfect for sharing time with friends and family. On the first floor is a stunning king-sized bedroom with a roll-top bath, where you can relax and unwind after a day on the coast. A cosy twin bedroom with sloping ceilings can be found on the second floor.

The centre of the town, with its charming shops, galleries, cinema, and cultural centre, is within a few minutes walk from the door. You can wander along the quay and eat fish and chips whilst watching the fishing boats or pull on your hiking boots and venture along the Coastal Path. With beautiful beaches, wonderful walks, and fabulous dining all within easy reach, this charming fisherman’s cottage is an ideal retreat at any time of year. With the Coasthopper bus stop not far from the front door, you can explore the coast without using the car, and if your vehicle is powered by electricity, the cottage has a charging point too.
Shop/pub within easy walking distance.

IMPORTANT: This beautiful fisherman’s cottage has a steep Norfolk winder staircase and therefore is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

  • receive a full refund for payments made, minus the administration fee of £15

Living/Kitchen/Dining Room leading off from the entrance hall, this is an open spaced room with wooden flooring. Relaxing sofa and pouffes, flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc., pine dining table and chairs, window seat.

Kitchen area has modern fitted kitchen, electric oven cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, undercounter fridge with small freezer and cafetiere. Well stocked with kitchen equipment.

Bedroom 1 has a King-sized bed, bedside tables, hanging space, roll-top bath.

Second floor:

Bedroom 2 is a twin-bedded room. Bedside table, hanging space and cupboards.

In front of the cottage is a small patio fully enclosed by fencing. Garden furniture. Charcoal BBQ.  

Parking

Private parking space directly in front of the cottage for one average sized car. Electric vehicle charging point.

Gas central heating.

  • Arrival day is Friday & Monday (Winter breaks can be more flexible)
  • Arrival time: 3pm – Departure time: 9am
