The Government announced a tier 4 lockdown for Norfolk commencing from 26 December. This will affect all our properties with Norfolk Coastal Cottages as holiday accommodation must close. At present we do not know an end date to this lockdown. All guests staying in our cottages up to the middle of January have been contacted. We will continue to contact guests with bookings, as the government updates the situation.
There are two options available to our guests during this time. Bookings can be moved to another date within the next 12 months, or receive a full refund minus the £15 admin fee. Whilst this is a busy time, we will endeavour to fulfil guest’s wishes as soon as possible.
We want to keep both our guests and the local community safe, so whilst the tier 4 lockdown for Norfolk has been a disappointment for us all, it is important we support the government with any decisions made.
If you have any concerns about a booking you may have, or if you wish to discuss the latest lockdown further, please contact Justine on 07710510516. For more information about the Covid-19 tier areas and lockdown as a result of them, please see the Government website. We continue to offer financial security for all bookings made in the future. This is designed to protect our guests from losing any rental payments made from local or national lockdowns. Please see more details here.
In the meantime, we recommend that guests start to consider booking their summer breaks. With the vaccine being rolled out, we all hope that holidays in England will be able to go ahead from the Spring. Holidays in the UK were extremely popular in 2020. To avoid disappointment, take a look at what Norfolk Coastal Cottages has to offer.
